Found photos, paper, glue. Ferrara, 2025 – ongoing
“Birthdays” is a series of analog collages in various formats, begun in 2025 as a practice of gift-giving: small works conceived as birthday presents for friends. Made with found photographs, cut-outs, paper, and glue, these pieces take shape as indirect portraits, small interior landscapes in which memories, objects, figures, and spaces are recomposed, evoking an atmosphere, an imaginary world, an emotional constellation. Each collage bears the trace of an act of reuse and transformation: an affective and ecological practice in which pre-existing images find new relations, new placements, and new narrative possibilities.
