Giuseppe Petruzzellis (1983<\/strong>), BA and MA in Audiovisual Communication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2004 to 2009 he worked as an investigative journalist for the Italian National Public Broadcasting Company RAI<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2007 he established APLYSIA<\/strong>, a production company specialised in creative documentaries. Since then he has collaborated on more than 70 film projects (19 features), working as screenwriter, producer, director, editor, cinematographer and colorist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the feature films he has edited participated to major film festivals (Venice Biennale \u2013 Giornate degli autori<\/strong> | CPH:DOX*<\/strong> | Sheffield Doc Fest<\/strong> | Cin\u00e9ma du R\u00e9el <\/strong>| etc.), were broadcasted on TV (RAI<\/strong> | Sky<\/strong> | Arte<\/strong>) and have had theatre releases in Italy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The short documentaries he has previously directed participated and were awarded at Ji.hlava IDFF<\/strong> | Milano Film Festival<\/strong> | MakeDox<\/strong> | Interfilm<\/strong> | Visioni dal Mondo<\/strong> | Hors Pistes – Centre Pompidou<\/strong> | etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023 he has completed La Ricerca<\/em><\/strong>, his debut feature film, World Premiere and Special Youth Jury Award <\/strong>at\u00a0Visions du Re\u00e9l<\/strong>, Grand Prize at Le FIFA<\/strong>, Special Mention Hera “New Talents” at BIOGRAFILM<\/strong>, Best Editing at Documentaria<\/strong> and Andrea Pazienza<\/strong> Award<\/strong> at Premio Libero Bizzarri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
